Atividade básica de inglês: grammar and speaking THERE IS e THERE ARE

There is é o verbo haver/existir no singular (há - existe).
There are é o verbo haver/existir no plural (há - existem).

Is there e are there significam a mesma coisa (haver/existir) mas são utilizados no início das frases interrogativas.

There isn't significa não hã/não existe no singular.
There aren't significa não há/não existem no plural. 

EXERCISES

1. Observe a imagem e escolha a opção correta: there is ou there are.

a) There is /There are a teacher in the classroom.
b) There is/There are a board in the classroom.
c) There is/There are three boys in the classroom.
d) There is/There are a chair in the classroom.
e) There is/There are four bags in the classroom.

2. Observe a imagem e responda as questões. Em frases negativas, escreva a frase corretamente.
