A different culture
I visit my friend Aiman’s house.
He is from India.
His parents greet me.
They put their hands together and bow.
I do the same.
Aiman’s mom cooks delicious curry.
They eat with their right hands.
I try it too. It is interesting!
After dinner, they give me a bowl of water.
“Is it for drinking?” I ask.
Aiman smiles and says,
“No, it is for washing your fingers.”
I laugh. Learning a new culture is fun!
